Dog "with fleas and ticks" abandoned "trembling with fear and cold" in Porto
The animal was rescued from the location on Sunday by PSP agents from Porto and taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment.

A dog was abandoned on Sunday in a park in the city of Porto, in very poor health conditions. With the help of the Public Security Police (PSP), it was possible to rescue the dog and hand it over to the care of ComRaça - Animal Rescue Team.
It was the animal welfare association that reported the case, revealing that it is "exhausted" and "speechless" with this type of event, since "every day they receive urgent requests for help".
"This boy was cowardly abandoned in the park of the city of Porto, left tied by a thread, trembling with fear and cold and in the rain", reveals ComRaça, also pointing out that the animal "has no electronic identification". which makes it more difficult to identify those responsible.
The dog was meanwhile taken to a veterinary clinic, where "it was dewormed", as it was "covered in fleas and ticks" and with its fur in very poor condition.
Finally, the institution highlights the "excellent work and sensitivity" of the PSP of Porto.
