One dead in collision on Marginal de Oeiras. Road is cut

A road collision between a light passenger vehicle and a motorcycle caused one death early this Tuesday morning on the National Road (EN) 6, known as Avenida Marginal, in Oeiras.
According to confirmation from Notícias ao Minuto with the Greater Lisbon Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command, the accident forced the closure of traffic in both directions.
Later, the Command confirmed to Notícias ao Minuto that the accident had resulted in a fatality. It should be recalled that the motorcycle driver was initially being assisted at the scene.
Notícias ao Minuto knows that the motorcyclist became unconscious and had to be resuscitated by the public before the authorities arrived.
According to the Paço de Arcos Volunteer Firefighters, an accident occurred near the Infante D. Henrique Nautical School in Paço de Arcos. The alert for the collision was given at 7:51 am.
On the scene are 11 operational personnel, supported by four vehicles, from the Paço de Arcos Volunteer Firefighters.
