Body found floating in Porto beach
A body was found floating today in the area of the Farolim de Felgueiras, near the beach of Ourigo, in the municipality of Porto, reported several sources from the Civil Protection.

The alert was registered at 8:37 am, a source from the Metropolitan Area of Porto’s Sub-regional Command told Lusa.
In statements to Lusa, the commander Silva Lampreia, from the Douro Captaincy, explained that it was the body of a "man, dressed and without documents" floating in the area of the Felgueiras Lighthouse, on the Ouriga beach (Porto), and that he was rescued by the authorities around 9:30 am.
When asked if the body showed signs of injuries or advanced decomposition, Silva Lampreia said that the body showed no visible injuries and that it seemed to be "a recent situation".
The cause of death is currently unknown, added the same source.
At 9:30 am, there were members of the Porto Firefighters’ Regiment, as well as INEM and the Maritime Police on site.
At around 9:15 am, the commander of the Douro captaincy, Silva Lampreia, told Lusa that a lifeboat station had been activated for the site.
