Trio with "suspicious behavior" was carrying more than 900kg of stolen cork
The suspects were following in a vehicle that was carrying a large amount of cork.

On Monday, the Republican National Guard (GNR) identified two men, aged 40 and 60, and a woman, aged 28, for stealing cork in the town of Cabrela, in the municipality of Montemor-o-Novo.
"Following a patrolling action, the Guard's military detected a light vehicle in circulation that was transporting a large amount of cork, and its occupants showed suspicious behavior", revealed the security force, in a statement, this Tuesday.
Following the action, "an approach and inspection of the vehicle was carried out", and the GNR found that the three suspects "were in possession of 910 kilos of cork, the origin of which they could not justify, which is why the cork was seized".
The action resulted in the seizure of 910 kilos of cork and three axes.
The suspects were identified and the facts were reported to the Montemor-o-Novo District Court.
