Attacks, kidnaps and robs pregnant woman in veterinary clinic in Póvoa
The victim, who is an employee of the clinic, had to receive hospital assistance. The suspect has now been arrested and will be brought to a first judicial interrogation.

A 26-year-old man was arrested in Póvoa de Varzim for kidnapping, assaulting and robbing a pregnant employee of a veterinary clinic, the Judiciary Police (PJ) revealed in a statement sent to Notícias ao Minuto, this Wednesday.
In the same note the inspectors reveal that the crimes occurred on February 5th, in a clinic in Amorim.
The man pretended to be a client, claiming to want to schedule an appointment for placing a chip and vaccinating his pet, ending up assaulting and locking the victim in the bathroom to steal the money she had in her wallet.
The victim was only released with the intervention of the firefighters, having needed to be transported to the hospital, given the aggressions she suffered and her state of pregnancy.
The suspect, who already has police references for crimes against property and physical integrity, will now be presented to the judicial authority for judicial interrogation and application of coercive measures.
