Arrested for violently assaulting a store employee during a robbery in Viseu
The suspect was detained and, after being presented to a judge, was subjected to the coercive measure of preventive detention.

A 28-year-old man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of robbery, qualified assault and possession of a prohibited weapon in Carregal do Sal, Viseu.
The facts date back to "May 4" and occurred "in a commercial establishment in that location", revealed the Judiciary Police (PJ) in a statement.
"Following violent attacks inflicted by the suspect, an employee who was inside the establishment at the time of the assault was injured and required hospital treatment", highlights the PJ note.
The individual was already "referenced for crimes against heritage". After being present at the first judicial interrogation, he was subjected to the most serious measure of coercion, "preventive detention".
