Hot Sunday... but beware! Low temperatures and rain return on Monday

Sunday began mild in the North and Center regions and warm in the South region, conditioned by an "anticyclone located in the Azores region, which extends in a ridge to the Iberian Peninsula".
However, the good weather seems not to want to stay, starting "to weaken from the afternoon, allowing the approach of a frontal system, which will affect the weather on the 13th [Monday]", reports the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), in a statement.
To end the weekend saying goodbye to the heat, the IPMA also reveals that the "maximum temperature will oscillate between 18 and 25°C in the North and Center regions and between 24 and 30°C in the South region", this Sunday.
During the early hours of the 12th to the 13th, the night will be humid, "although no precipitation is expected". "The wind will be generally weak from the northwest and the temperature will vary between 15°C (beginning of the night) and 12°C (beginning of the morning)".
On Monday, the 13th, rain is forecast for the North and Center regions. "The wind will be from the northwest up to 30 km/h, blowing with more intensity (up to 40 km/h) in the highlands", it adds.
