He slaps and chokes the police officer who tried to push him away in riots
The man was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, in Caldas da Rainha, Leiria district.

A 26-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of this Sunday for assaulting an authority agent in Caldas da Rainha, Leiria district.
According to a statement to which the Notícias ao Minuto had access, the Public Security Police (PSP) reports that an agent from the Caldas da Rainha police station was called "to assist other police officers who were at that location on paid duty, due to disagreements between several individuals".
At the scene, and when removing the suspect, he resisted, "attacking her with a slap in the face and squeezing her neck, only ceasing these attacks with the intervention of the other police officers at the scene", the note reads.
Despite the attacks, the police did not require medical treatment and continued to serve.
The man was arrested and, after completing all the formalities, was notified to appear in court.
