Searches at Porto Comercial and Dragão store linked to Operation Praetorian

"Several inquiries are being made, they are still ongoing at the moment, and they are being made as a result of Operation Praetorian", the police source said.
In a statement published on the club's official website, the newly-appointed management of André Villas-Boas "informs that searches are underway in one of the Group's [companies], Porto Comercial, and in the Associate's store at the Estádio do Dragão, and hereby undertakes to provide any and all support to the authorities in the conduct of their inquiries".
The searches take place hours before FC Porto, third placed in the I Liga, with 66 points, receives its 'neighbour' Boavista, 14th, with 31, starting at 8:30 pm, in the Porto derby of the 33rd and penultimate round, refereed by Artur Soares Dias, from the Porto association.
Operation Praetorian investigates the incidents that occurred at FC Porto's General Assembly (GA), on 13 November 2023, with the Public Prosecutor's Office arguing that the Super Dragões fan club intended to "create a climate of intimidation and fear", so that the revision of the statutes "in the interest" of the then 'blue and white' management, led by Pinto da Costa, would be approved.
On 31 January this year, the PSP arrested 12 people - including two FC Porto employees and the leader of the Super Dragões, Fernando Madureira, who remains in preventive detention, along with Hugo Carneiro.
At issue are crimes of physical harm in the context of a sports event or event related to the sports phenomenon, coercion and aggravated threat, public incitement to a crime, throwing of objects or liquid products and also an attack on freedom of information.
