Porto Comercial. More than 10 defendants and thousands of tickets seized
PSP said today that "several thousand" tickets for games and cash were seized in searches that are taking place in Porto Comercial and in the store of the associate of Futebol Clube do Porto, with several people having been named as defendants.

An official source from the PSP told Lusa that "several thousand tickets for sporting events have already been seized, as well as monetary amounts, and more than a dozen individuals have also been charged".
The same source stated that the searches began early in the morning to "comply with several judicial warrants" and are being carried out "with the support of various police forces".
In a statement, the management of FC Porto reported that Porto Comercial, a company belonging to the FC Porto business group, and the club's membership store are being searched at the Estádio do Dragão.
A PSP source revealed to Lusa that these ongoing proceedings are related to Operation Praetorian.
The searches are taking place hours before FC Porto, third in the I League with 66 points, hosts its 'neighbour' Boavista, 14th with 31 points, starting at 20:30, in the Porto derby of the 33rd and penultimate round, refereed by Artur Soares Dias, from the Porto association.
Operation Praetorian is investigating the incidents that occurred at the General Assembly (GA) of FC Porto on November 13, 2023, with the Public Ministry arguing that the Super Dragões fan club intended to "create a climate of intimidation and fear" so that the revision of the statutes "in the interest" of the then 'blue and white' management, led by Pinto da Costa, would be approved.
On January 31 of this year, the PSP arrested 12 people - including two FC Porto employees and the leader of the Super Dragões, Fernando Madureira, who remains in preventive detention, along with Hugo Carneiro.
