13 people were also named as defendants in the context of the Bilhete Dourado operation that the PSP began today at 7:00 AM with the PSP's Criminal Investigation Division of Porto, triggering a "large-scale operation in the municipalities of Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia and Matosinhos".
The proceedings were ordered by the competent entities - Public Ministry and Criminal Examining Magistrate - and were carried out with the operational support of various PSP units, including its Special Police Unit (UEP).
This operation originated from a certificate extracted from the investigation that led to the Pretorian operation, and which aimed to execute 14 home search warrants and four non-home search warrants.
At issue is the suspicion of a criminal scheme, related to the distribution and sale of tickets associated with FC Porto, involving club employees and several members of one of its fan clubs.
Evidence was collected of the suspicion of crimes of distribution and sale of false or irregular tickets and irregular distribution and sale of tickets provided for by law.
