84-year-old man dies in tractor accident in the municipality of Pinhel
An 84-year-old man died today in a tractor accident in the town of Madalena, in the municipality of Pinhel, Guarda district, a source from the local fire department told Lusa.

According to information from the Beiras and Serra da Estrela Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command, the accident occurred in the village of Madalena, in the parish of Vale do Côa, with the alert being received at 11:56 am.
A source from the firefighters told the Lusa agency that the accident occurred on private property.
Means from the Pinhel Volunteer Firefighters, the GNR and the Emergency Medical Assistance and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) from Guarda were mobilized for the rescue, with a total of nine personnel and four vehicles.
