"Undue advantages". PJ arrests inspectors from the Figueira Municipal Council

The Judiciary Police (PJ) carried out a police operation within the scope of an investigation into economic and financial crime.
The operation, which led to several searches, culminated in the arrest of two inspectors from the inspection services of the Figueira da Foz Municipal Council.
According to a statement to which Notícias ao Minuto had access, the investigation focuses on the concerted action of the detainees, "the purpose of which is to determine the possible practice of crimes of corruption and abuse of power".
According to the elements collected, the detainees, inspectors from the inspection services of the Figueira da Foz Municipal Council and with direct responsibilities in the inspection of compliance with the legislation by the citizens, "will have requested and accepted undue advantages for omission of the practice of acts related to their functions".
