Preventive detention for the leader of the group of suspects arrested in Porto
The Criminal Investigation Court (TIC) of Porto today applied the measure of preventive detention to the leader of the group of three people arrested by the PSP on suspicion of drug trafficking, a source of the process revealed to Lusa.

The other two suspects were given the obligation to appear at the police station in their area of residence, the source added.
On Tuesday, the PSP revealed that as a result of the operation that took place over the weekend in Gondomar and Maia, in the district of Porto, it seized almost 602 thousand euros, admitting that it could be one of the largest verified in the region, and made three arrests.
In a press conference at the headquarters of the PSP's Porto Criminal Investigation Division, in addition to the 601,905 euros seized, the seizure of 4,391 doses of cocaine, 546 of marijuana, 158 of hashish and 206 of MDMA was revealed.
