Taxi driver from Elvas stabbed "in the neck and face" by client in Spain
A taxi driver from Elvas (Portalegre) was injured today after being stabbed by a client he was transporting in the area of Olivença, in Spain, a PSP source revealed to the Lusa agency.

The source of that police force indicated that the man, who was "assaulted with a bladed weapon" by a Portuguese client, "was under observation" at the Hospital de Santa Luzia, in Elvas.
The spokesperson for the Unidade Local de Saúde do Alto Alentejo, Ilídio Pinto Cardoso, confirmed to Lusa that the man was assisted in the emergency department of the Hospital de Santa Luzia, having suffered "several injuries to the neck and face", adding that "he has already been discharged".
The Polícia Judiciária (PJ) is investigating the case, said the PSP source.
In the meantime, a PJ source revealed to Lusa that "a suspect was identified in Olivença".
