Ana Mendes Godinho was being heard at the Parliamentary Committee on Labour, Social Security and Inclusion, on the financial sustainability of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML) and the internationalisation of social games.

Following some questions from deputies about the possibility of privatising social games, Ana Mendes Godinho assured that "this was never even under evaluation or consideration" during her term of office. "I can convey my position of being frontally against it and that it makes no sense. I am certain and convinced and I hope that this is also the opinion of the new Government because it would be truly unacceptable", she defended. "The privatisation of social games makes no sense", she stressed. She also guaranteed that during her term of office she was not in any meeting where the subject was discussed, stating that it was a topic that was never on the table. "It would be an unacceptable threat to the mission of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa", she defended.
