Two arrested in flagrante delicto for robbery in Vila Real
The PSP today arrested in flagrante delicto two men aged 28 and 30 for robbing homes in Vila Real, after a woman warned that they were entering her house, the police force announced.

The Police reported, in a statement, that they received a call via the emergency number 112 from a woman living in the city of Vila Real who requested assistance because two individuals were trying to enter her house, forcing the front door.
The PSP added that they immediately activated the police force to the scene, managing to intercept and arrest, in flagrante delicto, the two individuals, and also seized equipment used to open the doors of the houses.
The police force said that the two men "are strongly suspected of home robberies in Vila Real", as well as other attempted home robberies in the city, taking advantage of people's absence to carry out these crimes.
According to the Police, one of the suspects lives in the Porto area and the other has no fixed address in the national territory.
The detainees will be presented on Thursday to the competent judicial authorities for the first interrogation and application of possible coercive measures.
The Public Security Police also took the opportunity to "remind that crime prevention starts with everyone" and appealed for any situation that is considered strange and that may be related to the planning or practice of a crime to be immediately communicated to the police authorities.
