Dog adopted after '2 years' living alone after owner died
The animal was rescued by a volunteer from the Condeixa Animal Protection Association, located in the district of Coimbra, and today "found a family" and "is in good hands".

The Animal Protection Association of Condeixa, located in the district of Coimbra, told the story of a dog that lived alone in an uninhabited house for two years after her owner died.
"The owner died two years ago and she lived alone in the uninhabited house. 'Someone' went there to give her food, but was it enough? To have food and water and live in isolation?", reveals and questions the association, in a share on the social network Facebook.
According to the team, the situation happened "for two years" and only ended when "Margaux", a volunteer from the association, found her.
"Today she is in good hands! She was adopted and found a family that will not abandon her when life gets complicated. Be happy, princess!", ends the note.
