Enacted amendments to the Packaging Deposit and Refund System
The President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa enacted today the Government diploma that alters the licensing system of the Deposit and Refund System of non-reusable beverage packaging.

"The President of the Republic has promulgated the Government's diploma that changes the licensing regime of the Deposit and Refund System for non-reusable beverage packaging, changing Decree-Law no. 152 D/2017, of December 11, and Decree-Law no. 24/2024, of March 26", can be read in a note on the Presidency's website.
Tuesday's Council of Ministers had approved the "draft decree-law that changes the licensing regime of the Deposit and Refund System for non-reusable beverage packaging", according to the statement.
