Good morning! It's time to look at the front pages of the Portuguese press this Thursday, May 16. Stay up to date on the main highlights.

Thursday is magazine day. "The rich and famous also hit. What the legal proceedings reveal about the scourge of domestic violence in Portugal and the denunciations in the upper classes", is the major theme highlighted in Visão. Sábado brings an exclusive from a new book related to José Sócrates: "Exclusive. The secret diary of Sócrates' investigator [New book reveals the phone taps in the Face Oculta case]".

In turn, today's Correio da Manhã writes about Operation Golden Ticket. "Videos trap 'monkey' and woman. Ticket trafficking on the black market", reads the newspaper, which also writes about the pregnant woman who disappeared in Murtosa and states: "Mónica's disappearance. Judge says there is evidence against Valente".

"Hospitals will be able to pay 40% more to task workers to ensure emergencies", reports the Público, while the Jornal de Notícias writes that "new rules prevent students with disabilities from entering Higher Education".

The Diário de Notícias reports that the "Public Administration strike threatens to close schools throughout the country" and highlights a study, which indicates that "temporary workers are three times more at risk of poverty".
