"Computer hacking". Young man wanted by Luxembourg arrested in Lisbon

The Judiciary Police (PJ), through the Criminal Information Unit, located and arrested a foreign citizen, in compliance with a European arrest warrant issued by the judicial authorities of Luxembourg, in the Lisbon area.
"The man, 27, was wanted for practicing computer fraud, money laundering, qualified theft and participation in a criminal organization", reads a statement from the PJ.
The detainee is suspected of "having fraudulently accessed third-party online banking services and identification data".
He is also suspected of having used such identification data to access the bank and transfer money in the name of the victims. "Through a false 'key' he accessed the victims' bank details, managed to make high-value transfers", explains the PJ.
For these facts, he may be sentenced to 10 years in prison. After his arrest, he was brought before the Lisbon Court of Appeal, "which determined that he should await the further terms of the extradition process subject to the coercive measure of preventive detention".
