Two injured in fire in a shop near Marquês de Pombal
The fire started at 5:05 pm and the origin of the fire is believed to have been a battery that exploded.

Two people were injured on Thursday after a fire broke out in a bicycle and electric scooter shop on Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar, next to Marquês de Pombal, in Lisbon.
According to the commander of the Firefighters Regiment, in statements to journalists at the scene, the two injured were employees at the establishment. One of them was a 36-year-old woman, who was injured by smoke inhalation and anxiety, and the other was a 28-year-old man, who suffered injuries to a hand.
The victims were transported to the São José Hospital, in Lisbon.
Also according to the commander, the entire building was evacuated after the fire. "We are checking if there is no danger of rekindling so that people can return to their homes and offices", he added.
By 6:20 pm, the fire had already been extinguished, with smoke extraction work continuing, he added.
According to the assessment made, the store "was completely affected" and the material damages are confined to the commercial space, in addition to the façade of the building being blackened on the upper floors, a source from the Firefighters Regiment told Lusa.
As the Firefighters Regiment confirmed to Notícias ao Minuto earlier, the fire broke out at 5:05 pm and the origin of the fire was a battery that exploded.
The Public Security Police were also called to the scene.
