Those who strolled through the Feiras Francas de Fafe, on Thursday, May 16, were surprised with a pleasant surprise: the birth of a calf. The moment was special in itself, but it gained even more importance, since the birth happened on a municipal holiday.
"Today was very special with the birth of a little calf in the animal tent", announced the Municipality of Fafe, in a publication disseminated on social media.
The animal "was born at 12:20 pm, with the support of the owner, João 'Calçada' and two breeders present".
"It was named Expo Rural, a beautiful tribute to this attraction of the Feiras Francas", highlighted the local authority, which also stressed that the "happy event was witnessed by visitors on a special day for Fafe".
