Man under house arrest for attempted murder in Gondomar
The suspect assaulted the victim, a 56-year-old man, who was seriously injured and had to receive hospital care.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, May 14, for an attempted murder crime in the parish of Valbom, in the municipality of Gondomar.
The arrest occurred following an investigation into a case that dates back to "May 6, in the city of Paredes" and culminated in the "identification of the suspect," says the Territorial Command of the National Republican Guard (GNR) of Porto, in a statement.
"During the course of the action, it was found that the suspect attacked the victim, a 56-year-old man, who was seriously injured and was transported to a hospital unit," adds the GNR note.
The individual, who "has a criminal record," was present at the first judicial interrogation, after which he was subjected to the "coercive measure of house arrest."
