Detained for "assaults, death threats and extortion" to mother in Loures
After being presented to a judge, the 32 year old suspect was remanded in custody.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, May 15, on suspicion of committing the crime of domestic violence against his mother, in the parish of Loures, in Lisbon.
The victim filed a complaint against her son at a Public Security Police (PSP) station in April, according to the Lisbon Metropolitan Command.
Episodes of "physical and verbal aggression, as well as death threats and extortion of money" by her son, who lives with the woman, were then reported.
Due to the "seriousness of the facts" and after gathering the "necessary evidence", the police officers "complied with the arrest warrant".
The detainee was present for judicial interrogation at the Judicial Court of the Northern Lisbon District - Loures, and was "subjected to the coercive measure of preventive detention".
