No Euromillions winners, but a (great) second prize went to Portugal
Next Tuesday, the 'jackpot' will be 26 million euros.

No one has won the winning combination in the Euromillions draw 040/2024, drawn this Friday. However, there is good news for a player who registered his bet in Portugal, as he won a second prize, worth more than 306 thousand euros.
In total, according to information available on the Jogos Santa Casa website, there were two bettors - one of them in our country - who matched the combination of five numbers and one star and who take home a prize of 306,136.58 euros.
Three bettors abroad matched the five numbers and won the third prize, taking home a prize of 47,699.44 euros.
Next Tuesday, the 'jackpot' will be 26 million euros.
It should be recalled that, in Portugal, prizes awarded in excess of 5,000.00 euros are subject to stamp duty, at the legal rate of 20%, under the legislation in force.
