Man arrested with 12-inch knife at Caldas concert
PSP believes "it has dissuaded a hypothetical confrontation between rival groups, guaranteeing everyone's safety".

The Public Security Police (PSP) of Caldas da Rainha arrested a 25-year-old man in flagrante delicto for illegal possession of a prohibited weapon.
On the night of May 15, within the scope of the celebrations of the day of the city of Caldas da Rainha and during the closing musical concert, a man was caught with a 30-centimeter knife.
According to a statement to which Notícias ao Minuto had access, the facts were reported by witnesses who went to the police on duty reporting that a citizen would be hiding a large knife at his waist.
The suspect, who was accompanied by another young man, still tried to deceive the police, but ended up being "intercepted at one of the exits of the Square" where the concert was taking place. In his possession he had a 30-centimeter knife.
According to the PSP, "at the time of the incident, there were about a thousand people watching the concert". The same force believes "to have dissuaded a hypothetical confrontation between rival groups, guaranteeing the safety of all".
The detainee appeared before the competent judicial authority, being subject to a term of identity and residence.
