According to the same source, the four tuk-tuks (a means of transport used mainly for sightseeing) that burned were parked in a garage on Rua do Instituto Industrial, which connects Avenida 24 de Julho to Rua da Boavista. The garage is located on the ground floor of a four-story office building that was empty at the time of the incident, said the operator of the Lisbon Firefighters Regiment. The fire, which started around 7:35 am, was reported as controlled at 10:19 am, and those responsible for the garage were "to take care of the tuk-tuk batteries," said the same source, updating the number of resources sent to the site: seven vehicles and 26 firefighters. There was no record of other material damage or injuries, he also indicated.
