Despite the heavy vehicle carrying diesel affecting traffic on the A29

The skidding of a heavy goods vehicle, which was carrying hazardous materials, caused traffic restrictions on the A29, in the area of Vilar de Andorinho, confirmed Notícias ao Minuto with a source from the Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of the Porto Metropolitan Area.
Following the skidding, which occurred at kilometre 51.7 of the A29, in the south-north direction, there was a diesel spill, material that was being transported by the heavy goods vehicle, but which has already been resolved.
The diesel was transferred to another vehicle.
At 7 pm, only the right-hand lane was restricted, with traffic circulating in the left-hand lane.
There were no injuries from the accident, which was reported at 4:26 pm.
The Valadares Volunteer Firefighters, the Firefighters and Civil Protection Battalion of Vila Nova de Gaia and the National Republican Guard (GNR) were at the scene.
