Two people were injured in a five-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning on the National Road (EN) 125, near the new bridge in Portimão, in that city, in the district of Faro.
As confirmed to Notícias ao Minuto by the Algarve Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command, the victims, with minor injuries, were transported to Portimão Hospital.
According to the same source, traffic is restricted to one lane for the removal of the damaged vehicles.
The alert was given at 08:40 and the relief operations mobilized the Portimão Volunteer Firefighters.
The Public Security Police (PSP) is in charge of the incident.
