Four arrested for drug trafficking in Cabeceiras de Basto
The arrests were made as part of an investigation into drug trafficking.

Four men aged between 41 and 66 were arrested on Monday for drug trafficking in the municipality of Cabeceiras de Basto.
The arrests took place within the scope of an investigation into drug trafficking, in which the military of the National Republican Guard (GNR) "complied with five search warrants that culminated in the arrest of the suspects", the force detailed in a statement sent to the newsrooms on Tuesday.
In addition to the arrests, it was possible to seize 144 doses of cannabis, eight doses of hashish and four doses of MDMA, as well as four mobile phones, three scales and two knives. The authorities also seized 2,015 packs of counterfeit tobacco and 310 euros in cash.
The men were constituted accused and the facts were communicated to the Guimarães Judicial Court.
This was an action by the Braga Territorial Command, through the Fafe Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC).
