They took minors from an institution in France and fled here. They were detained
The two women were already being sought by the French judicial authorities. They are now awaiting the extradition process in custody.

Two women, wanted by the French authorities, were arrested in Porto for kidnapping minors.
In a statement released this Tuesday, the Judiciary Police, details that the detainees are two foreign citizens aged 41 and 19.
"The suspects, mother and sister of two minors aged 12 and 14, will have allegedly orchestrated a plan to remove the minors from a foster home in France, then traveling to Portugal by car with French registration", adds the statement.
After being presented to the Court of Appeal of Porto, the detainees are awaiting extradition in preventive detention.
The two minors have already been referred to a foster home. The situation was reported to the Family and Minors Court of Porto.
