Professor accused of choking students. School opens proceedings
The aggressions allegedly occurred in January and April. The students' guardians have filed a complaint with the Republican National Guard (GNR).

A Physical Education teacher from António Bento Franco Basic and Secondary School, in Ericeira, was accused of assaulting three students from the 5th and 6th grades, which led the students' guardians to file a complaint with the National Republican Guard (GNR).
The news was reported by Correio da Manhã, which reported that the assaults occurred in January and April, and the teacher was accused of choking the students.
The Ministry of Education told Notícias ao Minuto that "the group's management has instituted a disciplinary process against the teacher", without elaborating on the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
The Notícias ao Minuto also tried to find out more details from the GNR and is still awaiting a response.
