GNR detains "suspicious" man carrying MDMA and LSD in a vehicle in Penamacor
A 45-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto during an operation to prevent and combat drug trafficking.

The National Republican Guard (GNR) arrested a man on Friday for drug trafficking in Penamacor, in the district of Castelo Branco.
According to a statement sent to Notícias ao Minuto this Tuesday, the 45-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto as part of an operation to prevent and combat drug trafficking. The military approached a vehicle and, during this situation, the occupant presented a "suspicious behavior".
"During the police proceedings, a summary search of the vehicle and a personal security search of the suspect were carried out", explains the GNR, reporting that 20 doses of MDMA, 20 LSD stamps and ten doses of hashish were seized.
The action culminated in the arrest of the suspect and the facts were reported to the Fundão Judicial Court.
The action was reinforced by the military of the Idanha-a-Nova Territorial Detachment, Intervention Detachment (DI) and the Criminal Investigation (IC) structure of the Castelo Branco Territorial Command.
