Maritime Police and ASAE seize six vessels in the Ria Formosa
These are six foreign vessels, with Polish and Norwegian flags, that were in an "irregular situation due to lack of inspection and license to carry out maritime tourism activities".

The Olhão Maritime Police and the Food and Economic Safety Authority (ASAE) carried out a joint operation on Tuesday "aimed at vessels engaged in maritime-tourist activities", announced the National Maritime Authority (AMN) on Wednesday.
According to the AMN, "six foreign vessels, flying the Polish and Norwegian flags, were inspected".
After the inspection, it was found that the vessels were in an "irregular situation due to the absence of an inspection and a license to carry out maritime-tourist activities".
The vessels were seized as a precautionary measure. The owners of the vessels were notified and will only be able to resume maritime-tourist activities after regularising the situation.
In the note, the authority also indicated that the "operation involved three elements of the Olhão Maritime Police Local Command, supported by a vessel, and four ASAE inspectors".
