Preventive for seven of those arrested on Sunday in Santo Tirso for trafficking
Seven arrested on Sunday during a GNR operation, in Santo Tirso, which dismantled a drug trafficking network that operated in greater Porto, were remanded in custody, announced today that military force.

In a statement, the GNR says that in addition to the seven arrests, the operation resulted in three more arrests, one also made on Sunday and two on Friday, and that these three were subject to a restraining order and daily reporting at the police station in their area of residence.
According to the GNR, on Monday, this dismantling operation was carried out by the Santo Tirso Criminal Investigation Unit (NIC) and was the culmination of an investigation that had been ongoing for about a year.
The text states that during the operation, 11 search warrants were executed - five at homes, five in vehicles and one at a restaurant and bar - during which 70,000 doses of hashish, 2,400 of cannabis, 350 of cocaine, 700 doses of MDMA, 500 of heroin, 50 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms and about 105,000 euros in cash were seized.
The GNR also seized two firearms, five mobile phones, two vehicles and various materials for the cultivation, weighing, packaging and cutting of narcotics.
