Collision on EN4 cuts off traffic in the Arraiolos area
A collision between a heavy goods vehicle and a passenger car today led to the closure of the National Road (EN) 4, in the area of Vimieiro, municipality of Arraiolos (Évora), Civil Protection sources told Lusa.

Source of the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Central Alentejo indicated that the alert was given at 2:18 pm, resulting from the accident "a trapped victim".
According to the same source, the EN 4 is cut in both directions.
According to the sub-regional command, 40 firefighters from Évora and Arraiolos, INEM and GNR were mobilized to the site, supported by 14 vehicles, including the Emergency Medical Vehicle and Resuscitation (VMER) from Évora, an Immediate Life Support (SIV) ambulance from Estremoz and a helicopter.
