"Special". User celebrates 25 years of marriage at Braga Hospital

A patient who has been hospitalized for five weeks at the Hospital de Braga celebrated 25 years of marriage in the unit's chapel this Wednesday morning.
"João Ferreira, 53, has been hospitalized in the Neurology Service of the Hospital de Braga for over five weeks, after a renal thrombosis changed his plans for the celebration of 25 years of marriage with his wife, Maria Júlia Cunha", detailed the Local Health Unit of Braga, in a statement.
The celebration, which was carried out by one of the institution's assistants, Father Adelino Domingues, was attended by family and friends of the couple, who witnessed the renewal of their wedding vows.
"This moment is very special, because otherwise we would not be able to celebrate 25 years of marriage. A big thank you to all the people who made this possible, especially to nurse Paula Nogueira, from the Neurology Service", stressed João Ferreira.

In turn, Maria Júlia Cunha, 53, stressed that she will "always" accompany her husband, who has been hospitalized "for a long time". "Being able to celebrate this date together is very important to us", she said.
After the ceremony, the couple shared that they aspire to celebrate 50 years of marriage in a "festive atmosphere, with many guests and outside the hospital".
The event, which almost did not take place, "deserved the special attention of the health professionals of the Neurology Service, who were sensitized and immediately took care of streamlining everything so that this celebration could happen", pointed out the unit.
