Supplement equal to that of the PJ? Minister stated that "it will never happen"

The president of the National Police Union (SINAPOL), Armando Ferreira, decided to abandon the negotiation meetings with the Government after the Minister of Internal Administration proposed an increase of 180 euros for the police officers this Thursday.
"There was a commitment, on the part of SINAPOL to its members and to the police officers in general, that the reason for us being in these negotiations was to match the mission supplement, which is now being negotiated for the PSP, to the one that is already attributed to our colleagues from the Judicial Police", Armando Ferreira started by saying to the journalists at the exit of the Ministry of Internal Administration, where he had a meeting with the minister, Margarida Blasco.
For the president of SINAPOL, "it was very clear" in today's meeting that the objective will not be met. "The Minister of Internal Administration told us that this will never happen, because she does not have the capital, she does not have the financial means", he said.
Armando Ferreira confessed that he does not believe that the situation can be reversed. "If we are at 180 euros and what we wanted was to reach an increase of approximately 600 euros, we are very far", he said.
Despite having refused to appear in the next negotiation round, scheduled for the 3rd of June, Armando Ferreira assumed that he can "review the decision" in case of "receiving a sign from the Government, which is a strong sign that there will be changes".
It should be recalled that at the end of the meeting with the six unions of the PSP, the structures indicated that the Minister of Internal Administration proposed that the fixed part of the current supplement for service and risk in the security forces goes from 100 to 280 euros, maintaining the variable part of 20% of the base salary.
