Counterfeiting. Dismantled premises where they made live broadcasts to sell on TikTok

The Food and Economic Safety Authority (ASAE) carried out an inspection operation this Thursday as part of the fight against the criminal offense of selling or concealing counterfeit products in the town of Elvas.
According to a statement to which Notícias ao Minuto had access, a camouflaged location was dismantled, where "live broadcasts on social media, in restricted groups of digital conversation platforms, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, were taking place, with a view to the illegal marketing of counterfeit articles".
250 counterfeit articles were seized, mainly clothing and footwear, bearing "prestigious brands with a total value of 3,900.00 euros". According to ASAE, "various elements were also collected, identifying those involved in the entire organized structure and indicators of the practice of criminal offenses".
A woman was made an arguida, subject to the coercive measure of Identity and Residence Term.
The operation had the collaboration of the Public Security Police of Elvas.
