62-year-old motorcyclist in serious condition after collision in Monção
The collision occurred between a motorcycle and a light passenger vehicle driven by a 73-year-old woman.

A 62-year-old man was seriously injured in a road collision in Monção, in the district of Viana do Castelo.
According to the Monção Volunteer Firefighters, the accident occurred during the afternoon on Estrada da Lodeira, in the parish of Cortes, and involved a motorcycle and a light passenger vehicle.
The same source states that the seriously injured party, the driver of the motorcycle, was transported to the Santa Luzia Hospital in Viana do Castelo.
The driver of the light vehicle, a 73-year-old woman, was assisted on the scene and refused transport to a hospital.
In addition to the firefighters, elements of the National Republican Guard were present on the scene.
