Man's body found "floating" in Zambujeira do Mar
The causes of the "origin of the occurrence" are unknown.

A man's body was found "floating" in Porto das Barcas, in Zambujeira do Mar, on Monday morning.
The announcement was made in a statement by the National Maritime Authority (AMN), explaining that the "causes of this incident" in the municipality of Odemira are unknown.
"Following an alert received at 6:30 am, through the Coastal and Border Control Unit (UCCF) of the National Republican Guard (GNR), the lifeguards of the Sines lifeboat station were immediately activated to the site, as well as elements of the Sines Local Maritime Police Command and the Colos Red Cross", reads the note.
The death was declared on the spot by the Health Delegate and the man's body was transported to the Baixo Alentejo Forensic Medical Office by the Colos Red Cross, after authorization from the Public Prosecutor's Office.
"The Maritime Police Psychology Office was activated and is providing support to the victim's family. The Sines Local Maritime Police Command took charge of the occurrence", concludes the AMN in the note.
