This Tuesday, the day will be marked by a rise in temperatures, especially the maximum, with partly cloudy or clear skies expected in mainland Portugal. However, the forecast points to sometimes strong winds on the western coastal strip and in the highlands, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
According to IPMA, "light to moderate winds (up to 30 km/h) from the north quadrant are expected, sometimes blowing strongly (up to 40 km/h) on the western coastal strip, especially during the afternoon, and in the highlands until mid-morning and from the end of the afternoon".
A slight rise in the minimum temperature is expected, especially inland and in the Algarve, and there will also be a rise in the maximum temperature.
Minimums will vary between 19 degrees, in Faro and Castelo Branco, and 10 degrees, in Bragança and Braga. Maximums will vary between 34 degrees, in Beja, and 21, in Aveiro. It should be noted that several districts will exceed 30 degrees, namely Setúbal (32), Évora (33), Castelo Branco (33), Portalegre (33). Braga reaches 30 degrees.
It should be noted that IPMA had already highlighted that, this week, temperatures will reach values typical of summer.
