Fire in Arouca forces the evacuation of the Paiva walkways
The forest fire that started at around 4:30 pm in Espiunca, Arouca, forced the Paiva walkways to be evacuated, a source from Civil Protection revealed to Lusa, who also indicated a reinforcement of resources on the ground.

According to the source of the Sub-regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of the Metropolitan Area of Porto, "the fire had two active fronts at 6:35 pm" and "is near the Vau river beach", a situation that "forced the evacuation of the walkways".
Given the evolution of the fire, 87 operatives are on the ground, supported by 25 land vehicles and seven air vehicles, added the source of the Sub-regional Command that admitted "new reinforcement of resources".
"There is no record of injuries", he said.
