The celebration on the dock of the Hospital de Braga Logistics culminated with a Foam Party, in an event organized by the Professional Support Office (GAP) that intended to "provide a moment of conviviality and joy for the families of the collaborators of the ULS de Braga, in a cozy atmosphere that broke with the weekly routine".

More than 150 children and families of workers from the Braga Local Health Unit (ULS de Braga) celebrated World Children's Day this Saturday, through various activities - and lots of foam.

"The morning was dedicated to entertainment, creativity and interaction with the security and rescue forces, who kindly joined the initiative to enrich the experience of the little ones (and the older ones)", the entity detailed, in a statement sent to the newsrooms.

The same note added that the exhibition of vehicles and emergency equipment, which had the collaboration of the Public Security Police, INEM, Braga Firefighters and the Braga Cavalry Regiment, was one of the spaces that aroused the most curiosity.

The unit also clarified that the participants "also had the opportunity to learn effective ways to respect the environment with Braval and Quinta Pedagógica", with the Braga Urban Transport (TUB) opening "the doors of their buses, allowing many children to enter a bus for the first time".

In turn, the Pediatrics Service of the ULS de Braga carried out activities "with the aim of bringing the little ones closer to the doctors, with a view to reducing possible fears or insecurities in the face of white coats".

The celebration at the Braga Hospital Logistics pier culminated with a Foam Party, an event organized by the Professional Support Office (GAP) that aimed to "provide a moment of conviviality and joy for the families of ULS de Braga employees, in a welcoming environment that broke with the weekly routine".

"Today, we brought together the families of our employees to provide an unforgettable morning for the children. Seeing the joy and positive interaction among all present is extremely rewarding and reinforces our commitment to creating a welcoming and differentiated work environment", stressed Sílvia Oliveira, GAP coordinator.
