Melo accuses PS of "accelerated amnesic outburst" over IRS criticism
The president of CDS-PP considered today that the socialists will have entered "a very fast process of amnesic outbreak" if they continue to criticize the Government for "reducing the IRS well beyond what the PS wanted".

"If they continue to criticize our Government for starting to reduce IRS well beyond what the PS wanted, I just want to say two things, the first is that we are right, the second is that, as usual, the PS has entered a very accelerated process of amnesic outbreak", he stated.
Nuno Melo conveyed this criticism in the closing speech of the 31st CDS-PP Congress, which took place in Viseu and ended today with the election of the new bodies.
"The PS, which during eight years broke all records of tax burden, increased the IRS, the IRC, the IUC and the ISP, attacks the AD Government because in the first 15 days it reduced taxes on work well beyond what the PS itself defended", lamented the also Minister of National Defense, stating that it is "difficult to find an adjective that qualifies something like that".
