Bruno Fialho re-elected president of the ADN party
Bruno Fialho was reelected as president of the Democratic National Alternative party (ADN), for a second four-year term, he told Lusa today.

Bruno Fialho, president of the ADN since 2020, was the sole candidate for the party's leadership and obtained 317 votes out of 321 voters, or 98.8% of the votes.
The leader indicated that there were also three null votes and one blank vote. The list for the National Council, a body that has a three-year term and will be chaired by Gabriel Branco, had the same vote, he said, indicating that "about 60% of the members were already from the National Council that was in office".
"Everything is peaceful in the ADN, it was all very calm," he said.
The ADN's statutes state that the party's president "is elected for a four-year term, which can only be renewed consecutively twice".
According to the notice published on the website of this political force, this extraordinary congress, the party's third, took place at the ADN's provisional headquarters in Lisbon and lasted only two hours.
Bruno Fialho said that the 3rd National Congress of the ADN had the sole purpose of electing these two bodies, justifying the short duration of this grand meeting, and indicated that "there were only two speeches", his and the president of the National Council.
The president of the ADN said that his first challenge will be the European elections on June 9 and indicated that the goal is to elect at least one deputy to the European Parliament, arguing that the party has "very good chances".
"The youth is adhering a lot to the ADN, it is a phenomenon that we have noticed in the streets, I think that the true message is getting through," he said.
Bruno Fialho also indicated as objectives for the second term "to professionalize the party more", namely with "administrative support, which is now done by volunteers", and to make it grow.
"We will now, from July, prepare the attack on the local elections [of 2025], so that we can achieve a surprising result," he said.
