Housing? "Solutions are insufficient and even aggravate the problem"
Book understands that the program presented by the Government "in fact, brings old solutions and solutions that have proven to have failed".

The Livre party claims that the solutions presented in the new Government's Housing Strategy (PSD-CDS/PP) "are insufficient" and "will only worsen the problem", bringing some solutions that "have proven to have failed".
"We welcome the fact that the Government, which until now has been the Government of dismissals, has finally tried to present solutions", MP Jorge Pinto began by telling journalists at the Assembly of the Republic. "The problem is that these solutions are insufficient and some of them will only worsen the problem."
According to the MP, the programme "in fact brings old solutions and solutions that have proven to have failed".
"We believe it is essential, in addition to what is already going to be implemented and that should be implemented with the PRR, that there is also an investment from the State Budget for public construction", he added.
Regarding the measures for Local Accommodation, Jorge Pinto was even more critical, stating that "it is more than proven" that there has been a large "increase in purchase prices and also in rent due to Local Accommodation. "It seems to us that reversing these proposals, namely the extraordinary contribution, is clearly a mistake and a step in the wrong direction that will only make the problem of housing at a fair price even worse."
This Friday, the Government presented the new housing strategy, with the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, having highlighted that "housing is a fundamental and elementary right" and that someone who "does not have decent housing is compromising their life project".
