Airport? Pedro Nuno points out lack of study on capacity reinforcement
The leader of the PS accused the Government today of having announced the reinforcement of the flight capacity of Humberto Delgado Airport without any study or opinion, while the Prime Minister assured that all decisions were considered and studied.

In Luís Montenegro's first biweekly debate as prime minister, in parliament, the PS secretary-general, Pedro Nuno Santos, asked, more than once, for the head of the executive to explain the study or opinion on which he based the announcement of the reinforcement of the current Lisbon airport since he "boasts" of saying that he makes thoughtful decisions.
"So that he cannot be accused of being thoughtless, impulsive, show us the study or opinion that was the basis for this decision that will have an impact on Lisbon," insisted Pedro Nuno Santos.
In one of the responses and without ever responding directly, the prime minister referred to "all the opinions that have been conveyed over time", to the report of the Independent Technical Commission or to communications from ANA.
"Rest assured because I did not revoke my decisions from yesterday today," he said, in a reference to the period when Pedro Nuno Santos was Minister of Infrastructure and had to revoke a decision of his on the location of the airport and which generated a conflict with the then prime minister António Costa.
According to Luís Montenegro, the decisions "are thoughtful and have been studied", including "in a party context" that he accused the PS leader of having disdained.
"It is therefore clear that the Government made an announcement yesterday [Tuesday] for which it does not have a study, an opinion that supports the decision," he accused.
