"Investments that have proven disastrous and we want to know these investments in detail", said the deputy José Soeiro, in statements to the journalists, at the end of the hearing of the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security because of the financial situation of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, the internationalization of social games and the dismissal of the provider Ana Jorge.
The deputy of the Left Bloc said he wanted to look carefully at the audit that was requested to the investments of Santa Casa Global, for the internationalization of social games,.
"First because we want to know the facts and we want to know who are the responsible ones, why were investments made in such a careless way and such strange and dubious investments", he explained.
He added that the second reason has to do with "a narrative that is being fed" that the situation caused by these "bad decisions" of the managers should now have repercussions on the institution's workers.
"This, from our point of view, is unacceptable and that is why we need to hold those who made these decisions accountable", said the deputy José Soeiro.
